Why WE Care

In the village of Mahero, we saw a place of promise: hardworking families, curious students, and resilient leaders. What was missing wasn’t dreams, it was access to tools and opportunities

  • Students walked long distances to school without access to books, uniforms, or basic supplies

  • Families collected water from distant or seasonal sources

  • Young people, when supported, rose to become leaders, athletes, and advocates

  • The community didn’t ask for charity, just an opportunity and a path forward

Our journey began with a single scholarship. But, what started as one act of support, grew into a lasting partnership

 When You Care

When you support WE Care, you're not just donating to a cause, you're changing someone's story

  • A girl stays in school because there's clean water to drink and a private restroom to use

  • A student like Joseph rises from hardship to become a Paralympian and a national youth advocate

  • A community library opens its doors, building new opportunity
